Xmas: Oyo East Council Boss, AROSAD, Donates Cash To Party Members, Leaders •Commends Gov For Opportunity To Serve

The Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. (Prince) Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi, on Monday, put smiles on the faces of the entire party Members, exco members, and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo East Local Government.

This was a result of the rousing welcome he received from the party stakeholders who appreciated his presence at the general meeting of the party, which was held at Jabata Primary School, Oyo.

In his speech after the donation of the whooping sum of N500,000 by the Council Boss, the chairman of the party, Hon Sakiru Ojo, appreciated the visit of the Executive Chairman and urged him to continue his usual support for the party.

He also eulogized him for his spirit of sportsmanship and his efforts to restore peace in the ten wards during the last party primary crisis.

The State Executive member, Omo’oba Mukaila Oladokun, while also speaking at the meeting, noted that the gathering was timely and further encouraged him to continue in his good deeds for the growth of the Party and development of Oyo East Local Government entirely.

Arowosaye, in his remarks, commended Governor Seyi Makinde for allowing him to serve the people at the local government level for four years plus as Caretaker Chairman and Executive Chairman.

He applauded His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde on recent leadership training both national and international he supported all the local government Chairmen to achieve.

On the sustainable developments in Oyo State, Arosad hailed Seyi Makinde for putting the welfare of the good people of Oyo State as his priority.

Hon Arowosaye Saheed also promised to ensure that the remaining period of his administration will unleash great developmental strides and opportunities for party members.

Similarly, Arowosaye extended heartfelt greetings to his Leaders including Chief Lukman Oyebisi Ilaka; Senator Monsurat Sunmonu; Alhaji Ademola Santos; Chief Bayo Elegbede, and others for their support throughout the period he spent in office.

At the event, he donated the sum of five hundred thousand naira N500,000, which was shared among  party members, and leaders at the general meeting, and further assured them of Christmas gifts

Other Leaders at the meeting were, Alhaji Mumini Owolabi (The Secretary, Oyo East Local Government),  Political Functionaries, Engr Samuel Oyedokun, Alhaji Alabi Waheed, Hon Alaka Yinusa, Alhaji Belau Oleojegi, Mr Akinwumi Ejalonibu, Mr Olayiwola Bello, Alhaji Lukman Adeyanju, all ward Chairmen and Local Exco members.
