As the world marks World Teachers’ Day, the Director-General of the Oyo State Liaison Office (Abuja and Lagos), Hon. (Dr.) Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), has extended heartfelt appreciation to all teachers across Oyo State for their outstanding contributions to education and nation-building.

In a statement released through his Media Assistant, Dr. OTOPE saluted the dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment of teachers in the Pacesetter State, describing them as the “unsung heroes shaping the destiny of generations.”

“Teachers are the backbone of every thriving society. Their role in nurturing young minds, instilling values, and building the foundation for a better tomorrow cannot be overstated,” Dr. OTOPE stated.

“They are the architects of the future — inspiring, guiding, and empowering our children to become responsible citizens and visionary leaders. On this special day, I celebrate their selfless service and tireless devotion to humanity.”

Dr. OTOPE also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering support to the education sector, noting that the governor’s administration has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to teacher welfare, infrastructure development, and quality education delivery. He added that the achievements recorded in Oyo State’s education system are clear testaments to the visionary leadership and people-centered policies of Governor Makinde, which continue to uplift the teaching profession and enhance learning outcomes.
