Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board Chairman, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, has lauded Governor Oluseyi Makinde’s efforts to provide quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare to Oyo State residents.

This achievement is attributed to the governor Makinde’s initiatives in upgrading health facilities, recruiting healthcare professionals, and promoting staff to their respective cadres.

Dr. Fagbemi made these remarks at the 2025 World Oral Health Day celebration, themed “A Happy Mouth is a Happy Mind,” held at the Ministry of Health, Secretariat Ibadan.

He praised Governor Makinde’s foresight in recognizing the need for improved dental services, leading to the provision of modern dental equipment and facilities at the Secretariat Clinic.

According to Dr. Fagbemi, oral health plays a critical role in maintaining overall well-being. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing oral health, echoing the World Oral Health Day theme.

The Chairman also acknowledged Aspira Nigeria Limited’s generosity and ongoing support in enhancing healthcare services and promoting oral health in Oyo State.
