Whether Contesting or not, Why JDS Remains the major determinant of where Oyo 2027 pendulum swings – Waheed Adurodekun

One of the notable political giants in the field of Oyo politics has identified reasons why the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland remains a major factor for Oyo 2027 governorship.

Alhaji Waheed Ajao Adurodekun,a prominent PDP Chieftain revealed why fielding questions from journalists on the recent development about Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s decision not to yield the call for Oyo Governorship contest.

In his analysis,the Ona Ara domiciled politician with over four decades in active political participation revealed how Dotun Sanusi has surreptitiously built a formidable political structure round all the existing polling units in Oyo state .

Like harmattan fire,Dotun Sanusi has avowed loyalists and supporters in all the 33 LG Areas of Oyo state: Ibadan, Ibarapa,Oke Ogun,Ogbomoso and Oyo zones .

Adurodekun further stated that the unprecedented manner with which the Moslem body, Christians and traditional worshippers clamoured for his candidature ,in addition to marketers,traders,Artisans ,students union bodies,youths and broad categories are eloquent testimony that JDS has emerged the issue in Oyo politics and will largely determine the direction .

As for him ,when asked what becomes of his choice,with the situation about JDS not willing to join the race? Adurodekun answered emphatically that “Governorship or not,my relationship remains intact with Dotun Sanusi.Dont forget he is the Asiwaju of Ona Ara,and a Foremost philanthropist,whose good deeds were never based on political reasons. I did not meet Chief Dotun Sanusi as a politician,so our relationship remains solid”_Adurodekun stated.

In furtherance ,the PDP Chieftain answered when asked if his support will shift to Dotun Sanusi ‘s preferences? He answered unapologetically that the entire JDS supporters will massively support whoever is the JDS choice,which is believed will be someone with similar inherent leadership virtues known with Dotun Sanusi himself .

The focus of Chief Dotun Sanusi are the masses ,who must be salvaged from suffering.Severally,Chief Dotun Sanusi has reiterated his viscera love to create an atmosphere,where live will be meaningful for Oyo populace and that is why we will opt for and support his preferred choice anytime.

Concerning the political party ,where such Governorship will be prosecuted, Adurodekun stated that ,when we get to the bridge ,we will know how to cross it .

He advised all JDS Supporters to remain calm and not be discouraged with the development ,but continue to be prayerful as God will reveal to us the way forward.

I will remain with Chief Dotun Sanusi and chart his vision for progress and development of Oyo state, irrespective of his political stance,the PDP Chieftain concluded .
