The lawmaker representing Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on Health, Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi, popularly known as Wale Canada, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of his former colleague, Hon. Abdul-Rasak Ademola Abdullahi, fondly known as Omo Sheu.

Hon. Abdullahi, who represented Ibadan South-East State Constituency I in the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, was described by Wale Canada as a committed public servant whose contributions to legislative governance and constituency development will be long remembered.
In a condolence message released on Tuesday, Wale Canada said the death of Hon. Abdullahi is a painful loss not only to his family and constituents but also to the Oyo State House of Assembly and the wider political community.

“Hon. Abdul-Rasak Ademola Abdullahi was a dedicated legislator, a colleague of principle, and a man who served his people with sincerity and passion. His demise is a profound loss to our Assembly and to Oyo State at large,” Wale Canada stated.


He noted that the late lawmaker distinguished himself through humility, cooperation, and a strong commitment to democratic ideals during his tenure in the 9th Assembly.

Wale Canada extended his heartfelt condolences to the Abdullahi family, the people of Ibadan South-East Constituency I, and the leadership and members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, praying for strength and comfort in this difficult time.
“May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus, and give his family, friends, and loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” he added.
