The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/ South East federal constituency of Oyo State, Rep. Abass Adigun, who is popularly known as Agboworin, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to his constituents for re-electing him for a second term in the House of Representatives.

Agboworin, in a statement signed by his Media Group, and made available to journalists in Ibadan, thanked the people for the trust reposed in him, adding that he does not take their support for granted.

The two-term lawmaker and Chairman of House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, who stated that he counted it as a privilege to serve the people again, maintained that he would remain committed and continue to work towards delivering dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of his constituents.

He added that he would keep working tirelessly to prioritize the welfare of the people, championing laws that bring real progress, and ensuring that their voices are heard loud and clear at the national level.

The statement read, “Two years ago, you, the good people of Ibadan North East/South East, placed your trust in me to represent you in the 10th Assembly, House of Representatives.

“I am deeply humbled and profoundly grateful for your mandate and your unwavering support and belief in me. Allow me to humbly say a huge thank you for voting me to the House of Representatives for a second tenure.

“Your individual and collective endorsement provided the momentum that saw us triumph gallantly over our political opponents. I do not take your support for granted. My family, Team, and I cannot thank you enough.

“Serving you has been an honor and a privilege, and I remain fully committed to working tirelessly to uplift our community, championing laws that bring real progress, and ensuring that your voices are heard loud and clear at the national level.
