The GSMists, a formidable socio-political group, coalition of loyal supporters of Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde (GSM), have heartily congratulated him on his recent installation as the new Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, the Deji of Akure, in commemoration of his 10th coronation anniversary.
In a celebratory message issued to the press by the state PRO of the group, Hon. Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekan Eldreez signed by the coordinator Tella Oluyinka, the group hailed the honour as a “well-deserved recognition” of Governor Makinde’s steadfast commitment to progressive leadership, ethical governance, and the promotion of Omoluabi ethos —humility, honour, responsibility, and service.

The GSMists also extended congratulations to Engr. (Mrs.) Tamunominini Makinde, the First Lady of Oyo State, who was equally honoured with the title of Yeye Aare Omoluabi, commending her for her grace, philanthropy, and unrelenting support for social development.
The statement emphasized that the recognition by the Deji of Akure is symbolic of the Governor’s widespread acceptance and leadership excellence across the Southwest and Nigeria at large.
