The Founder of Street Circle Foundation, Bashorun Saintabey, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Federal Representative of Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, Dr(Hon) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju and the people of Ibarapa over the passing of Pa Adepoju, a revered elder statesman and pillar of the community.

Pa Adepoju left an indelible mark on the educational, political, and social landscape of Oyo State and beyond. As the Rector of The Polytechnic Ibadan from 1981 to 1988, he played a pivotal role in establishing satellite campuses in Esa-Oke, Saki, Iree, and Eruwa, which have since evolved into full-fledged tertiary institutions.
Pa Adepoju’s dedication to public service was exemplified by his tenure as General Manager of the Agriculture Credit Corporation of Oyo State, a position from which he retired in 1991. Even after retirement, he continued to serve in various capacities, including as INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Nasarawa State and as a Pioneer National Executive Member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 1998.

Throughout his illustrious career, Pa Adepoju remained committed to the betterment of the lives of the sons and daughters of Ibarapa. His legacy serves as a beacon of inspiration to many, and his passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by the community.


Bashorun Saintabey, in his message of condolence, prayed for the repose of Pa Adepoju’s soul and offered solace to the bereaved family. “We at Street Circle Foundation stand in solidarity with the people of Ibarapa during this difficult time. May the memories of Pa Adepoju’s remarkable life and achievements bring comfort to his loved ones.
