Sports: Akinyele Council Boss sponsor AYF Football Final, bags Special Award.*

The Final Football match of the tournament hosted by the Akinyele Youth Forum was filled with fun fair, excitement and intrigues as the spectators went agog on the arrival of the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye and his team.

The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye in his bid to make positive impact in all sectors sponsored the Final Football Match of the Akinyele Youth Forum( AYF) in commemoration of the 10th Year Anniversary of the Association.

While Addressing the spectators at the football pitch, Hon Akinwole Akinleye expressed happiness at the level of coordination displayed by the AYF since he assumed office. He charged the President, Com Olagoke Paul and his team to continuously do more in impacting the society positively.

“The Society which we belong to is engineered by the Youths. Youths are Leaders of Tomorrow and the Tomorrow is Now. We will continue to support and do our best to ensure that we empower the Youths to the best of our capability.

We have made a lot of promises and we have started fulfilling some, very soon we will fulfill others by turning Akinyele Local Government to the Technological Hub of Ibadan”.

We will continue to do our best to impact every sector and ensure that Akinyele Local Government gets to the peak where we belong. I will take full sponsorship responsibility of this Final Football Match”.

In their response, The president of Akinyele Youth Forum, Com Olagoke Paul and the Councilor, Akinyele Football Coaches Council Coach Adeleke Peter Omule appreciated the Executive Chairman for his love, support and impact on youths and sports.

They assured the Executive Chairman of their readiness to always work hand In hand with the Local Government for the progress of the Society.

In recognition of his contributions and excellent support for the Youths, the Sports sector and the Success of the 2024 Akinyele Youth Forum AYF Community Football Tournament, The Executive Chairman, Hon Akinwole Akinleye was Honored with a Distinguished Youths and Sports Personality Award by the Akinyele Youth Forum and the Akinyele Coaches Council. The Tournament was won by Idi Ishin Community who defeated Alaja Community on Penalties.

Present with the Executive Chairman include the Akinyele LG Leader of the House, Hon Rafiu Kazeem Kolawole KK, Party Leaders such as Hon Olayiwola Akije, The PDP ward 5 chairman, Hon Oyeniran Kunle, Hon Bidemi, Hon Fagbemi, party Faithfuls amongst others.
