The Oyo State House of assembly party whip and member representing Lagelu State Constituency, Hon Olajide Akintunde AKT has applauded Governor Seyi Makinde on the commissioning of the South West Party Secretariat named after the late former National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon Soji Adagunodo.
In his remarks, Hon AKT acknowledged governor Seyi Makinde’s commitment as the gesture which has positioned Ibadan and Oyo State as the epicenter of South West of Nigeria politics.
The lawmaker commended Makinde’s exceptional leadership and dedication to celebrating the contributions of past leaders, further solidifying his reputation as a champion of regional growth and party unity.
He stated “Makinde’s leadership style reflects a unique blend of visionary thinking, empathy, and pragmatism, fostering an environment where citizens’ voices are heard . His commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability has inspired a new generation of leaders, raising the bar for governance and leadership in Nigeria.
“By commissioning this building, Governor Makinde has demonstrated his focus on regional development and party unity, cementing his legacy as a leader who walks the talk” The secretariat will foster grassroots political engagement, unity, and growth within the PDP, thanks to the magnanimity of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.” AKT noted.
He however urged party members to leverage the resources offered by the new secretariat to build a stronger future for the PDP.
