Ibadan – In a move aimed at streamlining media operations and ensuring effective coverage of matches, the management of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has announced that from the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, all home games of the club will require official media accreditation.

According to the club, the new policy will apply to all categories of media personnel, including journalists, photographers, and broadcasters, who intend to cover matches at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
Each accredited media house will be entitled to a maximum of two slots per game, with applications to be reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis. The final list of accredited journalists will be released before every matchday.

The club further disclosed that details of the accreditation process for the opening fixture of the season – the highly anticipated Matchday 1 encounter against Bayelsa United will be made public in the coming days.

3SC management emphasized that the initiative is designed to enhance professionalism, improve access control, and create a more conducive working environment for accredited journalists covering NPFL matches.
The Ibadan-based side urged all interested media organizations to comply with the new requirement, assuring them of full cooperation in facilitating smooth coverage throughout the season.
