Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has joined the family, friends and associates of the former two term governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Sen Abiola Ajimobi in celebrating the 4 year remembrance of his passing.
He described the former governor as a transformational and visionary leader whose legacies of peace and human capital development would continue to linger.
“Today, I join family, friends and associates to celebrate the memory and 4th year remembrance of our revered leader and former governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi.
His memory will continue to reverberate in our hearts as the legacies and vision of peace and progress brought untold and unprecedented development to Oyo State.
Senator Ajimobi was a thoroughbred man of peace who ensured that tranquility and security returned to the state.
His landmark legacies are visible in all the sectors just as his vision of technically empowered youths saw the state under his leadership invest in the establishment of the first technical university in Africa, the Ibadan Tech-U which is now the Abiola Ajimobi Technical University.
In remembering Senator Ajimobi, we celebrate his strides in governance and politics which transcend Oyo state. His positive influence in the national politics of our dear party cannot be ignored.
He lived his life in the service of his country, his state, his people and humanity.”
