The lawmaker representing Ido, Ibarapa East Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Honorable Aderemi Oseni has inaugurated Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF) leaders across 33 local government areas in Oyo State, marking the beginning of a strategic grassroots mobilization to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

Hon. Oseni, President and Founder of ROCOF, unveiled a Six-Point Actionable Agenda aimed at delivering Oyo State for President Tinubu, restoring the All Progressives Congress (APC) to power in the state, and empowering ROCOF members to contest elective offices.

According to Oseni, the agenda is designed to drive a socio-political rebirth in Oyo State and Nigeria through community-based engagement, advocacy, and leadership development.

“We are not just launching an organization; we are launching a revolution for good governance and transformative leadership,” said Barr. Yemi Aderibigbe, Director General of ROCOF.

The ROCOF leader emphasized the importance of supporting President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing the removal of fuel subsidy, forex reforms, and student loan policy as “bold steps for long-term prosperity.”

Oseni also pledged to champion the rights and economic interests of grassroots traders and artisans through training and micro-financing schemes.

ROCOF’s agenda includes promoting youth empowerment and skill development, advocating for justice and liberation of political detainees, and supporting market men and women.

The committee aims to position young people for national development through education and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Oseni called on ROCOF leaders to take the “gospel of the movement” to every ward and household, urging them to become agents of change and galvanizers of hope.

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world,” he quoted Mahatma Gandhi. “ROCOF is not just a committee; it is a family, a vision, and a movement for the rebirth of Oyo State and Nigeria.

“It is non-political, non-religious, and non-ethnic. We are committed to values of justice, equity, accountability, and good governance,” Oseni declared.
