Ahead of the 2024 Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation Sports Competition, the non governmental organisation has kicked off registration for the fifth edition of her annual marathon race.

In a press release made available on Thursday, Comrade Adedokun Sunday Harshasha, the Media and Publicity Assistant to Engr. (Dr) David Olusegun Okanlawon said registration starts today, December 12th and will end on December 19th, 2024.

This 2024 Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation Marathon competition is the fifth edition of the program.

Participation in the competition is exclusively opened to the indigenes of Ibarapa, with each town having a maximum of five female and five male representatives.

The largest marathon race in Ibarapa is aimed at uniting the community and strengthening bonds across the communities, and to connect with new people by participating alongside fellow athletes from other parts of the zone.

Also, the event focuses on fostering unity and identifying young talents.

All interested people should follow the link below to complete the registration. The committee will review all submissions and update prospective participants on the status of their applications.
