The ongoing recruitment efforts in Oyo State by the adminstration of my principal, Governor Seyi Makinde have been a game-changer for many young individuals, adding significant value to their lives. Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his administration’s commitment to empowering the youth through various job opportunities.

Looking at the demography of those seeking jobs and those who have secured appointments, it’s clear that the recruitment process has been inclusive and fair. The Oyo State Government has implemented various initiatives to ensure that qualified candidates from all backgrounds have an equal chance of securing employment

“The impact of these recruitment efforts cannot be overstated. For many young people in Oyo State, securing a job is a dream come true. It not only provides them with a sense of purpose and fulfillment but also enables them to support themselves and their families.” Adegoke stated.

Some of the notable recruitment announcements made by the Oyo State Government include the recruitment of 7,000 primary school teachers and 7,500 secondary school teachers, as well as non-teaching staff and other ongoing recruitment exercise as shown the statistics of those who wish to have government job. These recruitment efforts are aimed at reducing unemployment among young people in the state and improving the overall quality of education.

The recruitment process has been transparent, with candidates able to apply online through designated portals. For instance, the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), SUBEB , Civil Service, Hospitals Management Board , Oyo State Primary Health Care Board,Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority, Oyo State Amotekun Security, recruitment portal was opened for applicants to submit their applications.

The Oyo State Government’s commitment to youth empowerment and employment is evident in its various initiatives. Honourable Commissioner Adegoke’s commendation of Governor Makinde’s administration is a testament to the positive impact of these efforts.
