Reappointment: Oyo Ex Commissioner Alhaja Kafiat Olayiwola Ajeiya Appreciates Gov Makinde

I want to express my gratitude to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, for providing me a chance to serve the good people of Oyo State as the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.

As I promise not to disappoint in the confidence reposed in me, I’ll continue to work harmoniously in carrying out the policy guidelines prescribed by the board of Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency, representing Oyo North and Oyo South respectively and other relevant agencies as approved by the State Government.

In the same vein, I also want to appreciate the First Lady of the State, Her Excellency Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, for her support.

Today, I celebrate the extraordinary community of strong women across the state that I am privileged to lead.

This office is committed to stir, emancipate, strengthen and support women and girls to be change-makers and not see themselves as second class citizens.

Women are capable and determined to change the prevailing gender issues affecting them.

We are smashing our goals and breaking new grounds that the present and incoming generations will tow, and we are doing this with grace and poise.

Also, I am committed to promoting a socially inclusive society for the vulnerable and marginalized individuals.

This will be achieved by helping socially excluded individuals overcome the inequalities they face and promoting equality of opportunities and eliminating discrimination.
