As the holy seasons of Ramadan 1447 AH and Lent 2026 commence, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke FCA, Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland and Chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM Ibadan has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslim and Christian faithful across Oyo State and beyond.

Adegoke, who is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Oyo State gubernatorial hopeful,, urged residents to embrace the spiritual significance of the sacred periods, describing them as seasons of prayer, sacrifice, self-reflection, and renewed commitment to peaceful coexistence.
The respected community leader called on adherents of both faiths to use the solemn observances to seek divine guidance for the state and the nation, while also extending acts of kindness to the less privileged in society.

According to him, the concurrent observance of Ramadan and Lent presents a unique opportunity for collective moral rebirth and unity among Nigerians, irrespective of religious differences. He noted that the values of compassion, humility, discipline, and generosity, which define both seasons, are essential for fostering harmony and sustainable development.


Adegoke further prayed for God’s mercy, protection, and blessings upon the people of Oyo State, expressing optimism that the seasons would usher in peace, prosperity, and renewed hope for a better future.
The gubernatorial hopeful reaffirmed his commitment to promoting inclusive governance and people-centered policies, adding that spiritual rejuvenation should translate into renewed dedication to building a just and progressive society.

He concluded by wishing all Muslim and Christian faithful a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan and Lenten season, urging them to remain steadfast in prayers for the peace and progress of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
