Ahead of the local government election in Oyo State come April 2024, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government Area has inaugurated campaign council.

The campaign council which has been tasked to ensure the victory of the Chairmanship Candidate of the party, Alhaji AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju, the Vice Chairmanship candidate Alhaji Ganiy Abiodun Omotosho and the Ward Councillorship Candidates of the party.

While speaking, the chairman of the local government and candidate of the party, Hon Rahman Adepoju appreciated Almighty God, the Executive governor of Oyo State, Engr (Dr) Seyi Makinde and the leaders of the local government party for enablement of being in the position as at today, ranging from Caretaker Chairman to Executive Chairman.

Hon Rahman urged the campaign council to do everything possible to ensure the victory of all the candidates of the party and effective activities of the campaign.

He promised to continuously deliver the Dividends of Democracy to the good people of Ibadan NorthWest Local government area and follow the sustainable development agenda of Governor Seyi Makinde.

Earlier in his welcome address, Alhaji Lukman Adesina, the chairman of PDP Ibadan NorthWest appreciated the leaders and members of the local government for the usual cooperation and support.

He assured victory for all the PDP candidates in Oyo State in the forthcoming April 27 2024 election.

Hon Wasiu Adeleke, the state secretary of the great party PDP commended the inauguration of Rahman/Ganiy 2.0 and Councillorship campaign council in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government.

He assured victory for the People Democratic Party in the Oyo LG 202, hence he donated campaign uniforms.

The Leader in the local government, Dr Aderemi Ayodele inaugurated the campaign council as follows;

Director-General – Hon. Rale Opeyemi
Deputy Director-General – Hon. (Prince) Lateef Jaiyeoba Letua
Secretary – Hon. Asimiyu Gbolagade

While Others grouped in respective committees; Publicity, Contact & Mobilization, Protocol & Podium, Security, Budget and other sub committees.

In acceptance of duty, Hon Rale Opeyemi Director-General of the campaign appreciated all the leaders in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government PDP for finding worthy, and assured absolute and total victory for the party at the poll.

The Vice Chairmanship Candidate Alhaji Ganiy Omotosho, also the Political Head/Administrator of Oke’badan LCDA also added his words with appreciation and assurance of hope in the Rahman/Ganiy 2.0
