Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande, has extended his heartfelt felicitation to the former First Lady of Oyo State, Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi on her nomination for an ambassadorial position by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement released by his media office,Prof Akande also commended President Tinubu for the appointment which he stated that is a welcome development to the generality of the members of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Oyo State.
Professor Akande noted that Mrs Ajimobi has been a stabilising factor in the APC in the state and her nomination will encourage members of the party to follow in her footstep to promote unity and coherence within the party.
Prof Akande also praised Mrs Ajimobi for her motherly role within Oyo State in general and the APCin particular. He prayed that her appointment will put her in better stead to further her motherly role in Oyo State.
Prof Akande also prayed that God will grant her long life and good health to continue to be of service to the APC,Oyo State and Nigeria in general.
