Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande, has congratulated former Senator for Oyo North Senatorial District and retired General of the Nigerian Army, Senator Brimo Yusuf on his milestone 80th birthday.
In a statement issued in Kishi, Irepo Local Government area of Oyo State, Prof Akande noted the landmark contributions of Senator Yusuf to the deepening of democracy in the country as a member of the Senate between 1999 and 2003.
Prof Akande thanked God for sparing the life of the Army general and for granting him good health. “We thank God for your life and for granting you good health”, he noted.
Prof Akande prayed that God will continue to be with General Brimoh as he becomes a statement and guide him as he continues in his contribution to the development of Oyo State in particular and Nigeria at large.
