As political parties make final preparations ahead of the 2024 local government election in Oyo state, the chairmanship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in Ogbomoso North, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade has officially kicked off his campaign.

Ogunlade, who visited Alasa ward 5 alongside his running mate, Hon. Salawu Taofeek Adigun, on Monday, was joined by PDP leaders and members including all the councilors, Ogbomoso North party Chairman, Hon. Hamzat Ibrahim and the current Council Chairman, Hon. Kabir Ayoade and Ogbomosho north assembly, Hon. Bisi Oluranti.

Others were Hon. Jide Oketunbi, Pa Ayoola Ajibesin, Hon. Kabir Ayoade, Ogbomosho North LCDA Chairperson, Alhaja Adijat Oritoke Rainbow, Hon. Olufemi Onireti, Hon. Abuh Salam Arije, Baba Cash man, members of Campaign Council, Mobilizer of Campaign team, Hon. Ayorinde Lekan Actor, Youth leader, among others.

The campaign tour led by the Director – General of the central campaign committee, Hon. Sunday Bankole equally visited several places including Alasa ward 5, Abogunde Ward 1 and Jagun ward 7.

Bankole urged the communities to vote massively for all the PDP candidates to continue to enjoy dividends of democracy and the good governance under the Omituntun 2.0 government of Engr. Seyi Makinde at the grassroot level.

The PDP candidate, Hon. George Ogunlade, who was warmly received by the communities, however promised not to disappoint the good people of Ogbomoso North if elected.
