Ibadan South West Local Government has commenced its 2024 Free Summer Coaching program for all secondary school students with a remarkable turnout of enthusiastic learners.
Under the leadership of Chairman Hon. Kehinde Akande, the program provides a supportive platform for students to develop their knowledge, skills, and character during the summer break.
The coaching program, which kicked off on 19th August at two centers across the local government area, has seen a high turnout of students from different secondary schools. The students, eager to learn and improve their academic performance, have been engaging with experienced coaches and mentors who are providing guidance and support in various subjects.
The Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Alhaji Hassan Bello shared his feelings “I am thrilled to see so many students taking advantage of this opportunity,” Noting that Chairman’s goal is to provide a nurturing environment where students can grow, learn, and develop essential skills that will benefit them in their academic and professional pursuits.”
The free summer coaching program covers a wide range of subjects, including Mathematics, Science, English Language, and other subjects .The coaching sessions are designed to be interactive, engaging, and tailored to meet the needs of students at different levels of their academic journey.
Students who participated in the program expressed gratitude and enthusiasm for the opportunity. The Local Government has committed to providing resources and support to ensure the success of the program. The local government has partnered with education experts, schools, and community leaders to ensure that the coaching program meets the needs of the students and the community.
