The executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde has been pictured together with Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State at the burial of the former Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu.

Rotimi Akeredolu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress died last year.

Governor Seyi Makinde stated on his verified Facebook page; “This morning, we were in Akure for the funeral of our brother, the former Governor of Ondo Sate, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu.”

He added; “We will remember him for the tenacity with which he pursued causes he believed in such as the Western Nigeria Security Network codenamed Amotekun. May God grant his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.”
