In a significant move to strengthen the grassroots structure of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State, Hon. Bashiru Rasheed Babatunde (BBR), the ADC candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly in the 2023 elections, has warmly welcomed key party leaders to Ibadan NorthWest Local Government Area.


The event, held to unveil the interim leadership of the party at the local level, was graced by the presence of Comrade Yinka Olona, the State Executive of ADC, and Hon. Lowo Adebimpe, the State Publicity Secretary. They were accompanied by a delegation of party stakeholders who expressed their support and readiness to reposition ADC for future victories in the state.
During the ceremony, Hon. Hossen Ismail was officially unveiled as the Interim Chairman of ADC in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, while Hon. Hawa Balogun was introduced as one of the key leaders to steer the affairs of the party at the grassroots.

Hon. BBR, in his remarks, appreciated the state executives for their visit and unwavering commitment to rebuilding the party’s base. He expressed confidence in the newly appointed leaders, describing them as loyal, capable, and passionate individuals who would lead the party to new heights in Ibadan NorthWest.


Comrade Yinka Olona and Hon. Lowo Adebimpe in their separate remarks emphasized the importance of unity and active grassroots mobilization as the party prepares for upcoming political engagements. They called on all party faithful to rally around the new leadership and work harmoniously to ensure the ADC remains a formidable force in Oyo politics.
