The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Lawal Lateef Adebare, recently conducted a thorough inspection of damaged roads in Ayete, specifically in areas such as Okeogun, Iwafin, and others.


The primary objective of the inspection was to assess the extent of the damage and explore feasible solutions for immediate repairs, ensuring smooth and safe transportation for residents and commuters alike.
During the inspection, Hon. Lateef, accompanied by the Local Government Secretary, Hon. Oyediran Monsuru, and other key officials, expressed deep concern over the deteriorating state of the roads.

The deplorable condition of the roads has posed significant challenges to road users, hindering their daily activities and causing undue hardships.


Hon. Lateef reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to addressing infrastructural issues and assured that necessary steps would be taken to restore the damaged roads promptly.

Hon. Saminu Amidu, Councilor representing Ward 2 in Ayete, alongside residents of Iwafin and Okeogun, also voiced their concerns, highlighting the growing risk posed by the damaged roads, particularly during the rainy season.
In response to the concerns raised, the Chairman, Hon. Lawal Lateef Adebare, promised the residents that necessary steps would be taken shortly and ordered the Supervisory Councilor for Works and Director of Works to prioritize the repairs immediately.

This directive aims to alleviate the hardships faced by the people and ensure that the roads are restored to a safe and usable condition.
The Chairman’s visit underscores the local government’s proactive approach to addressing infrastructural challenges in Ibarapa North, demonstrating their dedication to improving the quality of life for residents.
