PHOTOS: Akande Inaugurates Newly Elected CDC Executives in Ibadan South West Local Government

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Honourable Kehinde Akande , has inaugurated the newly elected executives of the Community Development Committee (CDC) in a ceremony held at the local government secretariat.

The swearing-in ceremony, which was held on Tuesday day, July 30, 2024

The newly elected executives include:

– Adeyemi Adeniyi T – Chairman
– Oladokin Yunusa T – Vice Chairman
– Jokokola Dayemi – General Secretary
– Hamzat Muideen P – Assistant General Secretary
– Imam Opeloyeru S.B – Financial Secretary
– Alhaji Akindele Jubril – Treasurer
– Rashidat Hammed – Women Representative
– Moshood Mutiu – Financial Adviser 1
– Bada Adekunle A – Publicity Secretary
– Itsewah Austin A – Welfare Secretary
– Basorun Kazeem O – Project Coordinator
– Olaniregun Hakem – Financial Adviser 2
– Adedibu Immanuel A – Ex-officio

The CDC election committee, comprising Hon. Oluyedun Bello, JP, Alfa Rasheed Kareem, Mrs Layeni, Mr. Steven Taiwo, and Mrs Odekanmi Folasade, oversaw the election process.

Representatives from the Ibadan/Ibarapa Zone, including Mr Salami Taofeek, Zonal Officer, and Tiamiyu M. S, Deputy Zonal Officer of the Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, witnessed the inauguration ceremony.

In his remarks, Honourable Kehinde Akande congratulated the newly elected executives and urged them to work tirelessly for the development of their communities.

He assured them of the local government’s support and cooperation in their endeavors.

In his acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated Chairman, Mr. Adeyemi Adeniyi T, appreciated all member-CDAs in attendance, the outgoing Executives, for their efforts and commitment.

He also used the medium to seek the cooperation of the new Executive members and the entire CDAs.

The CDC executives pledged to work together to address the needs of their communities and promote sustainable development in Ibadan South West Local Government.
