Distinguished ladies and gentlemen,

On behalf of the board members and volunteers of the Omoiyakunmi Foundation, I am using this medium to unequivocally appreciate your unbroken show of kind gestures and the staunch dedication to be part of this year’s gleeful event. We ideally believe that the trust you have in us and the belief in our systemic approach, made the event a memorable one.

In the last five years, the moments of honour, the pulchritudinous choice of styling, and the awesome level of inclusiveness have greatly evolved. We have always seen the jubilant way of celebration and the congratulatory mode of exchanging pleasantries. This, in it’s unchangeable form, has made us believe that the yearly event is a testament to how people can truly come together from different walks of life to close an unknown gap—that might have been hindering peaceful co-existence among us all.

I am using this medium to assure us all that by God’s grace, in the subsequent years, new ideas and more chances to give you special memories would keep on expanding.

Also, the foundation upon which the award ceremony was built would keep on moving from greatness to greatness because we won’t cease to do more. Let’s keep on showing how dedicated we are to our community, posterity will be kind to us all.

Considering the present economic situation of the nation, putting together an event of that kind was not a child’s play. We tried our best to ensure a smooth and perfect event but we understand it wasn’t without flaw(s). We sincerely apologize to all those who felt they were not well attended to. It is our hope that in coming editions that greater plans will be made ahead to curtail excesses. Kindly accept our apology!

Lastly, we duly appreciate you—for the great show of love, commitment and tenacious energy towards the fifth edition of the Oyo Social Media And Distinguished Personalities’ Award (OYSMA).

To all our friends and family members, distinguished guests, distinguished awardees, award winners and esteemed lovers and fans, we appreciate your overwhelming support and show of love. We will never take them for granted.

To all my friends who came from far and near to grace the event, I want you to know that I appreciate you all. God will never put you all to shame.
