In an atmosphere filled with gratitude and renewed motivation, the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke brought together the entire council staff for a special celebration, recognizing them as the heartbeat of governance and trusted partners in the journey of development.
The colourful event held in a spirit of unity and appreciation, gathered management staff, administrative officers and workers across all departments of the local government. It served as a platform to honour their dedication, resilience and indispensable role in delivering effective grassroots administration.
In his message made available by his personal assistant Azeez Sodiq Adesina while addressing the gathering, Hon. Adeleke described the council workforce as the engine room of progress, noting that the achievements recorded in Ibarapa Central since his assumption of office are products of teamwork and shared commitment to service.
“This administration believes in carrying everyone along. The successes we celebrate today are collective victories. This gathering is our way of saying thank you for your loyalty, hard work and belief in our vision for a better Ibarapa Central,” the Chairman stated.
He also acknowledged the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his steadfast support to local government administration, prompt payment of workers’ entitlements and for creating an enabling environment for grassroots development to thrive.
Delivering the lead remark, Comrade Olukunle Ayoade, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) praised Hon. Adeleke for his rare demonstration of appreciation and people-oriented leadership. He described the celebration as a morale booster for the entire workforce and assured the Chairman of the union’s continued cooperation toward achieving efficient service delivery.
In their separate goodwill messages, the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA) Mr Alalade olutayo and the Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS) Mr Oladiipo Michael commended Hon. Adeleke for fostering institutional harmony and prioritizing staff welfare, pledging sustained administrative support for his development-driven agenda.
Dignitaries present at the event included Hon. Rasheed Babarinde, Vice Chairman of Ibarapa Central; Hon. Adeniran, Leader of the Legislative Chamber; Hon.
