PDP Convention: Accommodation Arrangements Set, Delegates’ Comfort Our Top Priority — Agboworin

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed confidence in its preparations for the upcoming national convention, with Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin), Secretary of the Accommodation Sub-Committee, assuring that efforts are in top gear to ensure comfort and convenience of the delegates.

Agboworin, a lawmaker who represents Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency, while speaking with journalists shortly after the inauguration of the sub-committee on the accommodation arrangements, he noted that adequate provisions have been made for delegates.

He added that the committee has been working closely with critical stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics.

Agboworin said: “We have made adequate provisions for delegates’ accommodation, ensuring they have a comfortable and conducive environment to rest and prepare for the convention.

“Our goal is to provide a hassle-free experience for delegates, allowing them to focus on the convention’s proceedings.”

Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the Committee and Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Ademola Adeleke, highlighted the party’s commitment to conducting the convention in a special way, underscoring its adherence to the rule of law.

He noted that past conventions organised by the party has been successful and there won’t be exemption to the case of the forthcoming one.

“We believe in this organisation. We believe in doing our things in a special way and we believe in the rule of law.

“We have been organising conventions and they have been successful. So, this also will be successful. I can assure you that the PDP will continue to grow from strength to strength,” Adeleke stated.
