Oyo Youth Agency Chairman Adebowale Welcomes Youth to ‘December to Remember’ …set to unveil bumper December festive show 

The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has extended warm greetings to young people across the Pacesetter state as preparations intensify for the annual “December to Remember” initiative, a month-long series of youth-focused engagements aimed at empowerment, development, and community building.

In a statement released and made available to newsmen on Monday, by the Head of Media Unit to the Chairman Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, Adebowale described the initiative as an opportunity for Oyo youth to participate in impactful programmes designed to inspire creativity, foster leadership, and promote social responsibility.

He noted that this year’s edition would be powered by the State entertainment stakeholders, feature a blend of creativity, and showcase the embedded talent of energetic Pacesetter youth to the world.

While welcoming the youth to the last month of the year 2025, Adebowale urged the young intellectuals to remain focused stressing that the package for the December festive show set to be unveiled is not just a celebration, it is a platform to equip our youth with the right skills, exposure, and motivation to thrive in a rapidly changing world. We want every young person in Oyo State to feel included, valued, and empowered.

He emphasized the agency’s commitment to supporting the aspirations of young people, adding that youth development remains a key pillar of the state government’s agenda under the leadership of His Excellency Engr ‘Seyi Makinde’s sustainable development legacy.

Adebowale encouraged youths to participate actively, make meaningful connections, and take advantage of the opportunities the programme has to offer.

He however urged the clusters of the youth entertainment to register once the unfolding event unveils this week, noting that the agency aims to conclude the year with a positive and unifying experience that fosters youth engagement and prepares participants for a productive new year.
