The Students Historical Society of Nigeria, Osun State University (UNIOSUN) chapter, recently hosted an enlightening lecture on career exploration, featuring two distinguished guests ,Comrade Ogunsina Michael, Oyo State PDP Youth Leader, and Abiodun Oluwaseun ‘Laurel’, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Project Delivery.


The lecture, titled “Beyond the Books: Exploration of Career,” was delivered to students of the Department of History and International Studies. The speakers shared their expertise and experiences, emphasizing the importance of exploring various career paths beyond academic books.
Comrade Ogunsina Michael, a seasoned youth leader, highlighted the significance of leadership skills, networking, and adaptability in today’s fast-paced world. He encouraged students to explore different career paths, identify their passions, and develop skills that align with their goals.

Abiodun Oluwaseun ‘Laurel’, drawing from his experience as a student leader at Ladoke Akintola University, discussed the importance of career path exploration. He also showcased the impact of effective project management on community development, providing valuable insights into the practical application of skills.
