Oyo Reps Hopeful, Mayegun Babanumi, Commends Gov Makinde on People-Centric Administration

A leading aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives for Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest in 2027, Mayegun Sunday Olusegun Babanumi, has commended the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his dedication to a people-centric administration.

• Increment of minimum wage to ₦80,000 for civil servants, effective from January 25, 2025.

• Industrial Agricultural Training programs aimed at equipping youths and citizens with skills for economic self-sufficiency.

• Promotion of Yoruba culture and heritage, including the approval of Aso-Oke attire as Thursday wear with the regular Friday still inclusive for civil servants in the state.

• Conversion of 1,591 Local Govt Ad-hoc Workers To Permanent Staff with immediate distribution of letters

Speaking on these developments, Mayegun Babanumi noted that Governor Makinde’s policies reflect a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life for Oyo residents. He expressed confidence that such initiatives would foster sustainable development and economic prosperity in the state.
