As I consistently emphasize across various platforms, my vision is rooted in principles of inclusive development, empowerment, and good governance. I am dedicated to a community-centric development approach that emphasizes inclusivity and collaboration.
This ensures that every constituent, regardless of political, religious, or tribal affiliation, as well as gender, has a voice in the development journey.
My goal is to foster collective efforts in identifying and prioritizing the needs of each community and ward, collectively selecting programmes, engaging citizens, and actively participating in the execution and oversight of various projects. This commitment led me to pioneer the “fiscal federalism restructuring” agenda by establishing and registering the Ido/Ibarapa East Community Development Association with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Abuja.
This approach empowers local communities to participate in decision-making processes, taking ownership of their development initiatives. The community-based development model promotes good governance, accountability, inclusivity, rapid development, and wealth creation within the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency. It has successfully fostered collaboration, cooperation, and positive transformation within our communities since its inception.
I am particularly impressed by the story of the Orisunbare Community in the Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State, where women actively participate alongside their husbands in community development.
Last week, I donated Five Million Naira (N5,000,000) to support their (Orisunbare Community) ongoing development project.
Engaging our local communities in decision-making enhances living conditions by prioritizing critical issues such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.
Together, we can achieve tangible improvements in our communities’ quality of life.
