The Mini Mapo Hall in Ibadan, Oyo State, was abuzz with activity as top leaders and dignitaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Traditional Leaders, Market Leaders, CDC, gathered for the inaugural reception of Elétù, a chieftain of the party.

The event, which took place at the council secretariat, was a testament to the party’s unity and strength in the state. The venue was filled to capacity as dignitaries from all walks of life gathered to felicitate with Honourable Akande and his vice Honourable Tajudeen Adigun on their well-deserved swearing in, this was a show of solidarity and support for Elétù, who has been a dedicated and well respected chairman of the council for the last four years.

In attendance were prominent party leaders, including the Oyo PDP Scribe, Arole Iba Oloyule, Alhaji Nureni Akanbi,Honourable Dhikirulah Adedeji Olajide Odidi-omo, Honourable Omikunle, Honourable Modiu Alabamusa, Alhaji Abass Aleshinloye, Mama Kikelomo Sogbesan Mukeso, Honourable Oyetunji, Honourable Tirimisiyu, Baba Banker, Mrs Bose Adedibu, Pastor Biodun Popoola, Honourable Jide Boluduro, and many others.

The dignitaries came from various parts of the event to celebrate Elétù’s contributions to the party and to welcome him to his new role, the traditional rulers; Chief Wasiu Aderoju Aladorin, Aare Onibon of Ibadan land, Mogaji Elegbawo, Chief Ishola, Chief Monsuru Abiola Arulogun, Bada Balogun Olubadan of Ibadanland,Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori, Mogaji Muideen Adebisi, Mogaji Kehinde Omoaje, Mogaji Ramon Fatosa, Baale Oluyole, Chief Yemi Ogunyemi, Baale Odo-Ona, Chief Taajo, Mogaji Kooso, Chief Oladipo Taofeek.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of a congratulatory message to Honourable Akande by the party leadership, which was received with thunderous applause by the guests.

The event featured speeches, music, and dancing, as the guests celebrated Elétù’s inauguration. Arole Iba Oluyole, in his remarks, praised Elétù for his dedication and hard work, saying, “Elétù has been a shining example of what it means to be a loyal and committed party member. We are proud to have him as a leader in our party.”

Odidi-omo, another party leader, added, “Elétù’s inauguration is a testament to the strength and unity of our party in Oyo State. We will continue to work together to build a better future for our people.”
