Oyo PDP Presents Flags to Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship Candidates in Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has presented flags to its chairmanship and vice chairmanship candidates for the Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency. This event signifies the party’s commitment to promoting democratic processes and ensuring effective representation at the grassroots level. The presentation of flags is a symbolic gesture that highlights the party’s support and endorsement of these candidates, who are poised to bring positive change to the constituency.

Speaking at the presentation of the flag for the candidates from the two local governments, a chieftain of the party, Chief Nureni Akanbi ” the PDP’s initiative to present flags to the chairmanship and vice chairmanship candidates is a testament to its commitment to building stronger communities in the federal constituency” He noted that the primary focus will be on improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and other essential services that directly impact the lives of the constituents. Flag of the party was presented by Hon James Olukunle.

State Executive of Oyo PDP at the event; Hon James Olukunle, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke , Hon Micheal Ogunsina and Pastor Biodun Popoola. The Mogajis, Baale, religious leaders, market leaders, community development leaders from the two local governments also promised collaborative efforts with other stakeholders to ensure active community engagement with the candidates so as to always create a conducive environment for growth and development in the constituency.

The presentation of flags to the chairmanship and vice chairmanship candidates in Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency by the Oyo State PDP is a significant milestone towards April 27 2024 as the candidates embark on their campaign journey, they have equally set to prioritize the needs of the people, and work towards the overall development of the constituency as it is being carried out on the state by Governor Seyi Makinde.
