
In a statement on Thursday by the State Chairman, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro, the move was described as part of the partyโs effort to strengthen internal democracy, foster peaceful coexistence among members, and ensure a more coordinated structure ahead of future political engagements.
Ogungbenro noted that the committees are designed to uphold the values of fairness and accountability within the party, while also addressing grievances through dialogue rather than division.

โThe formation of these committees underscores our commitment to maintaining decorum and resolving internal issues amicably. Oyo PDP remains a model of cohesion, and we intend to keep it that way,โ he said.


The Oyo State PDP Disciplinary Committee is chaired by Hon. Oludayo Opatokun, with Pastor Biodun Popoola serving as Secretary.
Other members include Barr. Gbadegesin Waheed, Barr. Eedris Durosaro, Michael Ogunsina, Mrs. Dupe Temileyi, and Hon. Kunmi Adesina.
The Oyo State PDP Reconciliation Committee will be led by Hon. Mufu Ogunremi as Chairman and Hon. Yemi Oyelami as Secretary.

Members of the committee include Hon. Oludayo Opatokun, Hon. Kamorudeen Adeyemi, Hon. Yusuf Adekunle, Hon. Akinsola Ayuba, Hon. Wulemot Ibitoye, Hon. Toyin Olaniran, and Hon. Lekan Bello.
According to the statement, both committees will be inaugurated soon, with their mandates centered on promoting inclusiveness, addressing misunderstandings, and safeguarding the partyโs collective interest.
