The distinguished member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Health, Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi JP (Wale Canada), has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of His Royal Highness, Oba Sunday Adeoye Oyedokun (Tella III), the revered Ọlọtọ of Itọ Ofiki Land.

In a heartfelt condolence message, Hon. Wale Canada extended his sympathies to the royal family, the people of Ofiki, and the entire Atisbo community, describing the late monarch’s passing as a colossal loss, not only to Ofiki but to Atisbo and Oyo State as a whole.
Speaking through his Personal Assistant, Mr. Jimoh O. Oladoja, Hon. Wale Canada described Oba Sunday Adeoye Oyedokun as a revered leader and a role model who dedicated his life to the peace, unity, and progress of his people.

“The late Oba was a father figure and a custodian of our cherished traditions. His leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the development of Ofiki and its people will be greatly missed.
His legacy of service and community development will forever be remembered,” the statement read.

Hon. Wale Canada prayed for the peaceful repose of the late monarch’s soul and urged the people of Ofiki to take solace in the impactful life he lived.
He also extended his support to the Oloto royal family and the entire community during this period of mourning.
