Hon. Wale Canada described the late Alhaji Salau as “a steadfast party elder, a pillar of progressive politics in Kajola, and a father figure whose legacy of service and loyalty to the PDP will not be forgotten.”
The lawmaker extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, particularly to Mr. Ayo Olowosoke Olopoenian (Ayo Oke Ogun)—a close associate and political ally—on the loss of his beloved father.

“This is indeed a great loss not only to the immediate family but to the PDP family and the people of Kajola. Alhaji T.A. Salau was a man of wisdom, humility, and commitment to good governance. His contributions to the development of our party and his local government are deeply appreciated,” the statement read.
