Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi JP, popularly known as Wale Canada, the distinguished member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency, has expressed deep sympathy over the recent fire outbreak at the Kara Market in Ago-Are, Atisbo Local Government.

In a statement made available to the press, Hon. Wale Canada, who also serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Health, conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the affected traders and all those who suffered losses due to the unfortunate incident. While expressing relief that no lives were lost, he acknowledged the devastating impact of the fire, which destroyed valuable assets worth millions of naira.
He also extended his sympathies to the traditional ruler of Ago-Are, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Abodunrin Kofoworola Olakanla II, Aare of Ago-Are, praying for divine protection against such unfortunate occurrences in the future. Furthermore, Hon. Wale Canada assured the victims of his support, including financial assistance, to help them recover from their losses.

He called on relevant authorities and stakeholders to take proactive measures to prevent future occurrences, emphasizing the need for improved fire safety awareness and emergency response strategies in marketplaces across the state.
