Oyo Lawmaker Hon.Olayinka Omikunle Felicitates Christians At Easter, Preaches Peace and Love

A member of Oyo State House of Assembly under the Platform of People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) in Oyo State, Hon.Olayinka Omikunle has felicitated with Christians in Ibadan South East Constituency 2 and Oyo state at large as they join other Christians globally for the year 2024 Easter celebration.

Easter is a celebration that commemorates resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and also symbolised Christ victory over the wages of sin and death.

Hon.Omikunle who called on Christians to imbibe the virtues of peace, love, sacrifice, and compassion that attached to the season.

He therefore send his best wishes to Christians in Ibadan south East Constituency 2 and Oyo State entirely who are celebrating Easter this Sunday.,I called on every citizen and residents of our dear state (Oyo State) to reflect on the priceless sacrifice and endless love of Jesus christ for mankind.

As we are celebrating, let us also remember the core teaches of christ to all his children which include love of our neighbour, Peaceful coexistence with everyone around us,love of the nation and tribes regardless of languages and utmost good faith on better Nigeria

As the scripture stated that we should at all time pray for our country for those the nation shall prosper

Omikunle who is the chairman house committee on Public Private Partnerships at the 10th Oyo House Of Assembly urges Christians to use the period of Easter to pray the executive governor of Oyo State to succeed in his endeavour to bring the state to the promise land.

He therefore charged all to enjoy our Easter celebration while he also charged for violence free celebration
