Oyo Lawmaker, Mabaje Applauds Gov Makinde on Infrastructure Developments in Ido

The Member Representing Ido State Constituency at the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Rasaq Adekunle Mabaje has welcomed the good governor of Oyo State, Engr (Dr) Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde to his beloved constituency and applauded the governor for infrastructure developments in the constituency in recent times.

Recalling that as the commencement of Omituntun 2.0 which is the second term of the governor, commissioning of Infrastructures are also being second in the constituency.

This newly commissioned road holds immense promise for our community. Not only will it alleviate traffic congestion in Apata Oja, but it will also bolster the economic prosperity of our people.

Enhanced connectivity will facilitate easier access to essential services such as the train station in Omi, fostering seamless movement within and beyond the borders of Oyo State. Moreover, the illumination of this route promises to enhance security, while the eradication of time wastage marks a decisive step towards progress.

I extend my deepest gratitude to His Excellency for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people in my constituency. This road project serves as a unifying force, linking three local governments, Ido LG, South West LG, and Oluyole Local Government in a shared journey towards development. However, even as we celebrate this milestone, it is imperative to acknowledge the pressing needs of communities such as Wire and Cable to Agbofieti. These areas remain perilously inaccessible, demanding urgent attention.

The significance of this infrastructure project cannot be overstated. By connecting over 250 communities with a collective population exceeding 750,000, this road transcends mere transportation, it lays the groundwork for socioeconomic empowerment. Indeed, the establishment of a Local Government becomes a viable prospect, in accordance with constitutional stipulations.

As I express my heartfelt appreciation for the blessings bestowed upon us, I echo the sentiments of my constituents: Thank you, sir. May the benevolent hand of Providence continue to guide and bless you abundantly.
