Hijra Message: Oyo Lawmaker Hon.Olayinka Omikunle Felicitate With Muslim Ummah On HIJRA 1446 AH

The honourable member representing Ibadan South East Constituency 2 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon.Olayinka Omikunle has joined numbers of prominent Nigerians to rejoiced with Muslims in Oyo state and our country on the commencement of the month Muharram, marking the beginning of new Islamic Calendar of 1446 AH.

The lawmaker who described the Muharram as the 1st Islamic month which shows Allah’s blessings for his people .

Hijrah is a wonderful celebration for the Muslims brothers and sisters across the globe as it’s stand for a new year of Muslim calendar.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) had to emigrate from Makkah to Madinah in 622 C.E. after he exhausted his patience with the Makkah pagans who were persecuting him

Hon Omikunle therefore called on all muslims ummah to use this year celebration and pray to almighty Allah to bless our nation.

The Chairman house committee on Public Private Partnerships at the ongoing Oyo State 10th Assembly, also use the opportunity of year Hijrah 1446 A.H to appreciate Gov.Seyi Makinde led administration for peaceful co-existence in the state, while noting that the governor has recorded more success than his predecessors in every sector.
