Hon. Bisi Oluranti Micheal, Oyo State lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North Constituency, has extended warm congratulations to the Soun of Ogbomosoland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III, and the people of Ogbomosoland on the successful second edition of the Ogbomoso Cradles Carnival.
In a statement issued on Monday, Hon. Oluranti described the carnival as a symbol of unity, identity, and pride, which reconnects Ogbomoso people with their heritage and strengthens intergenerational bonds.
“I joyfully congratulate Kabiyesi, traditional leaders, and all sons and daughters of Ogbomosoland at home and abroad on the success of the Second Edition of the Cradle Carnival (Dec 18-22, 2025),” the statement read.
Hon. Oluranti encouraged the diaspora community to utilize the opportunity to reconnect, renew family ties, invest in community development, and support initiatives advancing Ogbomosoland’s cultural, social, and economic progress.
She commended Kabiyesi, the organizing committee, stakeholders, and volunteers for elevating the Cradle Carnival to global recognition, praying for a peaceful, colourful, and impactful celebration.
