With one kind gesture you can change a life. One person at a time-you can change the world and one day at a time-we can change everything.

It was a commendable move today at Honorable AKT Constituency office where the leaders and elders across 14 wards, local excos, 5 principal excos each ward, Chairmanship candidate and his running mate, party stakeholders, 14 wards councilor, supervisory councilors, Councillorship candidates and Kamoru campaign council members answered the call of Hon. Olajide Akintunde AKT, to unleash the template and to gather ideas on how his forthcoming empowerment programme and the items would be disbursed.

Baba Kenfab as the moderator: welcome everyone with words of encouragement and call on Hon AKT to give plans, strategies and template for the distribution of empowerment items throughout the 225 polling units across the local government.

While addressing people, Hon. AKT expressed his gratitude to everyone who spared time to attend and graced the meeting.

He made it known that the empowerment program which was tagged *”AKT STRATEGY SUPPORT PROGRAM-(AKT SSP)”* will only be launched at his Constituency office and thereafter, those empowerment items will be distributed in every each ward meeting to avoid hijacking and unnecessary beneficiaries.

He noted that the empowerment program will cover every 225 polling units across Lagelu local government, Lagelu league Imam and Alfas, Christian association of Nigeria Lagelu, traditional worshippers Lagelu, Lagelu council’s of Chiefs and Baales, Association of Barber Lagelu, market men and women Lagelu, Association Tailor Lagelu, Medicine seller NAPPMED Lagelu and People with disabilities.

Forms will be distributed to the Ward chairmen and go back home to meet with the members of their various ward to decide on their ward units beneficiaries so as to have a database of the people empowered to avoid a repeatation on the subsequent ones.- Hon AKT said.

In his own statement, the lagelu Chairmanship candidate Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen commended Hon. AKT for the kind gesture put in place at this particular time at which his campaign and election is about to approach. He extended his gratefulness to Hon. AKT for having a large heart to consider the party members of worthy to be empowered and he extols him for emulating the principle and legacy of Governor Seyi Makinde in touching lives of the less privileged people in society.

Different reactions and demands were raised and treated accordingly to make the day a successful one.
