Hon (Mrs) Oluwatoyin Balogun, the Oyo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to Barrister Sulaimon Ajeniyi-Ajewole on his successful re-election as the President General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII).

Commissioner Balogun lauded Barrister Ajewole for his unwavering,Gibraltar like commitment to the advancement of cause of Ibadanland including it’s sons abd daughters, highlighting his dedication to fostering unity, promoting progress, and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the city.
“I am very proud of Barrister Ajewole who has continued to exemplify the spirit of unflinching loyalty,unity, progress, and cultural preservation that defines the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes(CCII)” she stated.

“This renewed mandate is.most well-deserved and a reflection of the trust and vote of confidence reposed in him by the great people of Ibadan, both at home and in the diaspora.”

This is a distinct round peg in a round hole outcome and I salute the electorate for having the wisdom and presence of mind in voting for the most dedicated and committee lover of all things Ibadan ever

A while back,the President General and I were opportuned to serve together on a committee and I was enamoured, heartened and very happy to note the passion and commitment which he brought to bear to ensure that the interest of Ibadan was duly noted and taken care of
The Commissioner also extended warm congratulations to the entirety of the newly elected executive members of the CCII, expressing her optimism that their tenure would be an even more impactful one with Barrister Ajewole at the helm of affairs
She then prayed that this newly elected leadership would usher in greater heights for Ibadanland.
