This is the transcript and Summary from the committee report of the oversight function done to 33 local government and 35 LCDAs in Oyo State that Hon. Olajide Akintunde (AKT) tendered and submitted to the house of assembly on Tuesday 6th February, 2024 (as the chairman House committee on local government, Chieftaincy matters and State honours), made it known that:

*The committee recommend the approval of the house as follows that:*

1. The executive arm of the government through the ministry of local government in urge as matter of urgency to coordinate the repair of all serviceable earth moving equipment in all local government and LCDAs in the state by inviting the suppliers of the machine for the repair.

2. All the chairman of the local government should ensure that all their earth moving equipment that had broken down outside their domain should be return back to their local government secretariat between 3 weeks.

3. All local government and local government area council should consider increment on monthly take home for their adhoc staffs from #17,000 to #35,000 to enable them cope with the economic hardship in the country.

4. Local government should look inward to increase their IGR through establishment of new estate in their local government and invest more on agricultural especially local government in the agric areas.
