The Oyo State Agency for Youth Development has honored a courageous and bold social media influencer who has stood fearlessly in the path of progress, Mrs. Ishola Iyabode Olajumoke a.k.a. Alake Iya Pedro, in celebration of her birthday, recognizing her outstanding contributions to youth empowerment and grassroots development in the state.
In a statement released and made available to newsmen by the Head of Media to the Chairman, Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, Prince Adebowale described Alaka Iya Pedro as “a beacon of hope and a tireless advocate for the youth, whose efforts have inspired a new generation of young leaders across Oyo State.
In his remarks, Prince Falana praised Mrs. Pedro’s unwavering commitment to social development, propagation of good governance with constructive criticism as well as unwavering defense of Governor Makinde’s development goals of his administration and support for women-led initiatives.
“Alaka Iya Pedro has consistently demonstrated what it means to serve with compassion, dignity, and purpose. Her leadership has not only touched lives but has also helped shape policies that continue to benefit our youth,” Adebowale stated.
“Your voice is powerful, your loyalty is unmatched and your resilience inspires many. You’ve proven time and again that truth and integrity will always find a way to rise above noise and distraction.
He further reiterated that words cannot truly describe the celebrant, she’s a great woman with a big heart, always ready to help, always making people smile, and never tired of doing good. She’s simply a blessing to humanity and many others.
