I, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, fondly known as OTOPE, a dedicated chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the serving Director-General of the Oyo State Liaison Office for Abuja and Lagos, heartily congratulate Hon. Sikiru Sanda on the celebration of his 4 years in office as the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government.
Hon. Sanda, now serving his second term, has consistently demonstrated visionary leadership and a deep commitment to grassroots development. His administration has transformed Egbeda into a model for effective local governance through strategic investments in infrastructure, security, education, and public welfare.
Key achievements under his tenure include the reconstruction and commissioning of the Maku Police Station, the establishment of the Amotekun Corps in Erunmu to enhance local security, and the provision of motorized boreholes in multiple wards to address water scarcity. The renovation of classrooms in primary schools and the distribution of over ₦5 million to 11 communities for development projects further underscore his people-centered approach.
His leadership excellence has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by his unanimous re-election as Chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON). This recognition reflects not only his administrative competence but also the confidence reposed in him by his peers across the state.
