OPINION] Gender Balance For the Good Governance: Kudos To Governor Makinde For A Motherly Touch in Governance -OCAT

As a concerned citizen of Oyo State, I’m compelled to express my heartfelt appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for appointing a compassionate and dedicated individual, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Balogun, as the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.

This decision was another testament to Governor’s commitment to gender inclusivity and the empowerment of women in our dear state,

Mrs. Balogun’s wealth of experience in women’s rights activism and her motherly approach to governance is a breath of fresh air, inspiring hope and confidence in the hearts of women and girls across Oyo State.

Her appointment was a clear indication that Governor Seyi Makinde is dedicated to creating a more inclusive and equitable society, where the voices of women are heard and valued,

Under Mrs. Balogun’s leadership, I am confident that the Ministry of Women Affairs has become a beacon of hope for women and girls, providing support and resources to those in need.

Her motherly touch has undoubtedly brought comfort and solace to the vulnerable and marginalized, ensuring that no one is left behind in our collective quest for a better Oyo State,

So far, closely to 365Days in the saddle, Honourable Balogun’s periodically Give-Back to the society cutting across the zones of Oyo State and accessibility to the females in the state have gone a long way to show her motherly golden touch in governance.
