When excellence becomes a habit, results become visible, tangible, and transformational. Hon. Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy (OOT), Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government, has once again proven that leadership is not about occupying an office but about using the office to change lives and communities.

Under the Omituntun 2.0 agenda of His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, OOT has become a symbol of what purposeful governance should look like at the grassroots touching every sector: from infrastructure and health to education, security, agriculture, and community development.
His administration has redefined the physical and social landscape of Ogbomoso South. From the full renovation of Lagbami Osekun Civic Centre into a modern, functional hub for meetings and events, to the construction of kajola untra modern market to dredging of major rivers to prevent flooding, construction of a customary court, agricultural empowerments and the rehabilitation of key roads that connect our communities the signs of good governance are everywhere.

In health, OOT raised the bar with the distribution of over 45 categories of medical equipment, making Ogbomoso South a benchmark for primary healthcare improvement across the state. His interventions align with the Governor’s vision of a healthier Oyo, but his passion and drive make the local delivery even more impactful.

It is safe to say that if performance is the yardstick, no council chairman in Oyo State can stand shoulder to shoulder with Hon. Oyeniyi Oyetokun Timothy (OOT). His achievements speak loudly, his projects testify boldly, and his people rejoice proudly.
So, to any chairman who believes they have matched or surpassed this record of continuous transformation, let them come forward and show it. Until then, Ogbomoso South remains the benchmark for excellence, the model of grassroots governance in Oyo State.
